Jim Grimm is well known as a performer, educator, and arranger of music for classical guitar. Jim performs frequently as a soloist and in various musical ensembles.

Jim holds both a B.S. and M.A. degree. He has performed in numerous master classes including classes with Christopher Parkening, Pepe Romero as well as private study with Angel Romero.

Jim serves on the faculty of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He has taught well over one thousand students to play the guitar.

During his tenure at William Jewell College which began in 1976, William Jewell has presented master classes with Christopher Parkening (5 times), Manuel Barrueco (2 times), the Romeros, Michael Lorimer and David Leisner.

Jim also has recorded his music on compact discs.
